Precision Soil Sampling

Proper soil sampling is the key to nutrient management for all crops. Using an integrated software solution and automated soil sampling probes, we measure the pH – as well as major, secondary and minor nutrient levels – in your fields. For added precision throughout your fields, we use Variable Rate Technology (VRT). By mapping the land with our GIS system and overlaying soil information on these maps, we identify soil sample zones or grids. VRT then allows for the “custom prescribed” application of lime and other nutrients, according to the precise needs in each area. Variable rate application creates more uniform growing potential for increased yields and profits, while it’s also more cost effective and environmentally friendly. Note, we are also able to prescribe custom fertilizer application based on data you provide.
